Since 1997 The Dirty Whittler have gained the utmost respect for the role they have played in Perth’s now thriving hardcore scene.
The Dirty Whittlers reputation is one of musical experimentation and precision, which continues to grow and proceed them.
They have developed their own sound based around low tunings, phatt grooves and many genres of music squashed into a big ball of beef.
They are uncompromising in their approach to melody, boasting unconventional arrangements, which push the music spectrum to the outer limits.Timeline
1998 -2002

 2002 – Signed to Melbourne Label (POPSTAR RECORDS)2002 – Melbourne tour with Closet Panic Sniveller

2001 – Triple J Radio; national airplay and interviews.

2001 - Support for Melbourne’s Blood Duster.

2000 - Video clip for “Fecal Seepage” which is currently receiving national airplay and  rotation on Channel [V].

2000 - Nomination for the Western Australian Music Awards “Best Video” (Fecal Seepage)”.

2000 - Nomination for the Western Australian Music Awards “Best Local Release” (Flossing with Meat)”.

2000 - Nomination and Winner of the Western Australian Music Awards “Best Metal Act”.

2000 - Headliner for WAMI South-West tour.
