Welcome to The Dirty Whittler archives. Here I am trying to collate as much information over DW's six year history. If anybody knows or has ANY information (such as this Shock Records rejection letter!) please go to our CONTACT page with your information.
The Dirty Whittler (DW) went through 3 name changes Sloth (circa '95 Ross Deschamp - Guitars, Adam Muskett - Drums and Tom Foden - Bass and Vocals, excluding myself, member Brendon Manuel aka Chief Hardcore). For a very brief period DW were known as Replicator, which is when I took over vocals. (There is one flyer located on the ARTWORK AND FLYERS section for a band comp where the name Replicator appears "Wannarock '96") Finally The Dirty Whittler was born. The name The Dirty Whittler, came from a drawing (see Artwork and Flyers) by artist and friend Troy Palibrk, who kindly shaved his eyebrows and head to appear on the front cover of DW's second release "Flossing With Meat".
A mention and thanks to Bergerk Recordings, Dr Alien Smith for his skills over the years and the 3 releases he helped create. Also to RobKaay @ PopstarRecords for taking us on, even though we broke up soon after.
